The Nacra 17 is a performance catamaran used for Olympic sailing. It was designed in 2011, went into production in 2012 and has been the focus of multihull sailing at the Olympic Games since its conception. The Nacra 17 was converted to a sailing hydrofoil for the 2020 Tokyo Games and with new adjustable rudders introduced from 2022 allowing both upwind and downwind foiling, is now by far the most exhilarating and dynamic boat in the Olympic fleet
With numerous National titles over the last 5 years and having achieved significant international success (including podiums at the 2019 Nacra 15 Foiling World Championships and 2019 Nacra Europeans) the team were first selected to represent GBR in the Nacra 15 class at the 2019 ISAF Youth World Championships in Gdynia (with Jasmine also selected to represent GBR again in 2021 in Oman and 2022 in the Netherlands). Subsequently, Theo and Jasmine were selected for the British Sailing Squad in the Nacra 17 and have set their sights on hopefully obtaining Olympic selection within the next 2 cycles.
To represent GBR and compete at an international level takes huge amounts of commitment, time, and money.
Your generous support, donations and sponsorship will hopefully help enable us to achieve our goal of moving to full British Sailing Team representation and hopefully one day, realise our dream of winning Gold at an Olympic Games.
